My ERPI Space: digital resources for more diversified teaching and more active learning in your English class!

Now available in our simple and user-friendly platform My ERPI Space, your teacher set offers even more possibilities for both you and your students. Classroom management is easier because you have all the teaching materials you need, including the student resources, in the same place. You can use the platform?s powerful tools (pencil, highlighter, notes, etc.) to make your classroom (or online) presentations more effective. 

The teaching tools include

Anita Romano is a co-author of both Special Delivery and The Grammar Guide. She has taught all levels of elementary and high school for 11 years. She has been a pedagogical advisor at Commission scolaire de Montréal since 2006 and a TESL course lecturer at UQAM since 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in TESL from UQAM. Over the years, she has collaborated with the MEES and many other school boards dealing with topics such as special education, evaluation, teaching materials and multi-level classes.

Philippa Parks has taught ESL for over ten years and currently teaches in the undergraduate TESL departments at McGill and UQAM universities. She is co-author of the Express Yourself series, Finishing Touch and New Quiet Time.

​Chantal Lefebvre always knew she wanted to teach English. She still remembers the songs she sang and the slides she watched in her grade 4 ESL class. Anybody else remember what slides are? She traveled a lot with her parents when she was young. The first thing her francophone parents taught her to say in English is “I don’t speak English.” It is a good thing she learned to say more than that! Her parents’ insistence that she speak English led her to a career she loves.

She enjoys snowmobiling, but for her nothing beats reading a good book. That might be why she has a BA in English Literature from University of Montreal. She has a room in her house dedicated solely for her numerous books. She also holds a teaching certificate from University du Québec à Hull where she spent a few years teaching ESL. She now teaches English at Commision Scolaire de St-Hyacinthe.

Karine Mallet is one of the co-authors for Special Delivery. She has taught all levels at the primary level throughout her 18- year career. She has been a pedagogical advisor at Commission scolaire des Affluents since 2007. She obtained her teaching degree from UQAM and a Master’s degree in the Evaluation of Competencies from Université de Montréal.
