Nathalie Fortier has a bachelor’s degree in elementary and preschool education from the Université de Montréal and a graduate diploma in cooperative and complex learning from the Université de Sherbrooke. She has been working for the Centre de services scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île since 1999, first as a Grade 6 teacher and then as coordinator of the elementary international program in her school and as an elementary teaching professional for the Société des écoles du monde du BI du Québec et de la francophonie (SÉBIQ). A committed educator, Nathalie has been giving workshops since 2008 for the Baccalauréat International (IB) and for teachers in her area.

Annie Leblanc has a bachelor’s degree in elementary and preschool education from the Université de Montréal. She has been a Grade 5 teacher since 1999, with a special interest in differentiating her teaching by using a variety of approaches. Annie also has a passion for math, which has led her to do additional training in the field and to work as a resource teacher in mathematics at her school.

Catherine Lincourt has a bachelor’s degree in elementary and preschool education and a graduate diploma in education. After teaching for the Centre de services scolaire de Montréal for 10 years, she became an educational consultant in mathematics at the elementary level, a position she has held at the Centre de services scolaire des Mille-Îles for over seven years. Catherine participated in a research project on special education in mathematics with researchers at UQAM over a period of six years. She is also one of the authors of the recent editions of Digit and Numbers.

Bachelière en enseignement primaire et éducation préscolaire à l’Université de Montréal, Nathalie Fortier détient aussi un diplôme de 2e cycle de l’Université de Sherbrooke en coopération et apprentissage complexe. Elle travaille au Centre de services scolaire de la Pointe-de-l’Île depuis 1999, où elle a enseigné en 6e année avant de devenir coordonnatrice du Programme primaire international au sein de son établissement ainsi que professionnelle au primaire pour la Société des écoles du monde du BI du Québec et de la francophonie (SÉBIQ). Engagée pédagogiquement, elle offre plusieurs formations depuis 2008 autant pour le Baccalauréat International (IB) que pour les enseignants de son milieu.

Annie détient un baccalauréat en éducation préscolaire et en enseignement primaire de l’Université de Montréal. Elle enseigne en 5e année du primaire depuis 1999 et elle s’intéresse spécialement aux différentes approches pédagogiques afin de différencier son enseignement. Passionnée par les mathématiques, Annie a assisté à de nombreuses formations de perfectionnement et elle a été enseignante ressource en mathématiques au sein de son école.

Catherine détient un baccalauréat en enseignement préscolaire et primaire et un DESS en éducation. Après avoir enseigné neuf ans au Centre de services scolaire de Montréal, elle est devenue conseillère pédagogique de mathématiques au primaire. Elle occupe ce poste depuis sept ans au Centre de services scolaire des Mille-Îles. Pendant six ans, Catherine a participé à un projet de recherche en orthodidactique des mathématiques avec des chercheurs de l’UQAM. Elle a participé, comme auteure, aux dernières éditions de Numérik et de Tam Tam.
